Youth Leadership Development

After School Program
Mondays & Fridays at Bethune Elementary School
1310 S. 15th Ave. Phoenix, AZ (Alkire Park)
2:20 pm - 5:30 pm

Cops 100 is partnering with Phoenix Police, Phoenix Parks & Rec, the Cardinals, ASU’s criminal justice program, and various community groups to host an after-school program that’s part of a push to revitalize the community and limit the influence of gang activity. The focus will be on youth leadership development and engaging programming as a way to take back a neighborhood that has been troubled by gang and drug activity for too long.

The first of its kind, our program will offer sports, arts, science activities, and personal development lessons that will ultimately lead to the creation of a youth leadership council. The youth council will host meetings and events that encourage community development and community-based mentors to step up and affect positive and sustainable change in their own community.

In 2018 we were able to organize a number of youth sporting events and community round tables in the Phoenix area. We look forward to more this year!

Thanks to a number of amazing companies, COPS 100 continues to be able to organize events that help close the gap between communities and local law enforcement. We appreciate our contributors! If you are interested in becoming a contributor, please contact us here!
